CALIFORNIA 2022 🇺🇸 DAY 5 PCH MONTEREY TO SLO | Bixby Bridge, Elephant Seals & Downtown SLO

It's the 5th day of our adventure and we are in full road trip mode! After eating breakfast at our hotel fro convenience we try to explore Point Lobos State Park only to be left disappointed because the car park was full! So, instead, we head to Target to stock up on road trip snacks and hit the road, driving the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1) down to San Luis Obispo. Along the way, even more disappointment hit when low clouds and fog completely robbed us of our views! We did still stop at Bixby Bridge, a small town called Gorda and a beach to watch the amazing wild Elephant Seals on our way south. After reaching San Luis Obispo (SLO) we had a surprise visitor in our hotel room and ended up rescuing a gorgeous Pitbull Terrier who had strayed from his owner, before exploring the Downtown area and grabbing pizza and ice cream to end the day.
