How to Glamour Your Gear: The Ultimate Guide | FFXIV

In this video I'll be going over how to use glamour prisms to cast glamours on your gear, how to dye your gear, how to make and use glamour plates, how to store glamour in the glamour dresser and armoire, how to inspect other players and try on their gear, and more! For anyone coming from WoW, glamouring is the equivalent of transmog (but our system in FFXIV unfortunately isn't as good, sorry! xD). There's a lot of really cool fashion in this game, and the glamour system allows you to wear whatever you want even if your actual gear is kind of ugly. Yay! Just to clarify on what does and doesn't cost glam prisms: Applying glams while using glam dresser, armoire, or glamour plates does NOT cost you glamour prisms. Even if you apply using the character menu, as long as that item came from your armoire/dresser, it won't use up a glamour prism. However, if you apply a glamour to your gear using something from your armory chest or inventory, then it will cost a glamour prism.
