A Tribute to the V-Sets

On January 30, 2026, the last -Set departed Lithgow 5:47am for Central. This was the last a V-Set would operate a revenue service. This was a tragic day, NSW lost the best train it had in service. For me this meant losing my favorite train to film around Sydney. This video is intended to be my own personal tribute to my beloved V-Sets. I collected some videos I took of them at various locations in the last few years, and here I present them in one tribute dedicated to the V-Sets. This should have, and was intended to, come out earlier, but I had a few delays. But here it is now, 10 days late. I very much loved all the time I spent riding and filming V-Sets during their last years, however, I did not always do this alone. I would like to thank some good friends for joining me and the V-Sets during their last days. Te-Jen of: @YUFAus‬ Joined quite a few trips, filmed, and even helped edit some of my own videos, as well as providing extra footage, including at the end of this video. Most of the footage was filmed between January 12, 2023, and January 30, 2026.
