Mid shot owner holding dogs STORYLINE: Vietnam is a popular choice for adventurous tourists but backpackers looking for lodging in one hotel in the city centre will be turned away disappointed. Situated in a small street in Vietnam's capital city of Hanoi, there's a unique hotel for cats and dogs. The owner of the hotel is Mr. Nguyen Bao Sinh, who is 62 years old, and very proud of his more than 30 years service to pets. The hotel has fifty rooms dedicated to the needs of cats and dogs. It also features a big swimming pool and a park, which are in the middle of the hotel, to help entertain the guests after long hours in their rooms. About 70 cats and dogs are looked after by the hotel, while their owners are away. They receive saunas, massages, medical care and training. "I dare say that I am the pioneer in pet services provision in Vietnam" Sinh said. "I promised to do this business in a past life, but it is really hard work. At night, when it rains, I don't have time to think about myself but rush out to see them and check whether they are safe or not". "My customers are from all types of social classes such as: expatriates, rich Vietnamese and normal people. But I want them all to feel relieved when they bring their pets here". Sinh has big plans for the future of his establishment. He is hoping to make it even larger and more welcoming for the well off cats and dogs of Hanoi. Until then only the lucky few will continue to enjoy the hospitality of this most unusual of guesthouses.
