In southern Myanmar, the mountainous Dawei Peninsula faces the Andaman Sea, home to rich and diverse marine life. In the remote village of San Lan, the Dawei people have lived in harmony with nature for centuries, shaped by the land’s rugged isolation. Their deep spiritual connection to the sea is embodied by U Shing Gyi, the "Lord of the Seas," who protects fishermen in exchange for daily offerings. Ko Aung Moe, a fisherman since the age of 12, supports his family of 11 by braving the ocean’s tides. As the full moon approaches, he must prepare for the powerful shifts in the currents. Following his journey reveals a community that lives by the rhythm of the moon, bound to the sea by tradition, faith, and survival.
