Dr. Ryan Sharp, assistant professor of park management and conservation, discusses visitor use management monitoring protocols for protected area managers and explore the options for understanding how visitors use, experience, and impact parks and protected areas. This talk was presented for students participating in the capstone course of the Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences Secondary Major at Kansas State University and was open to the general public as part of the NRES Seminar Series. The NRES Secondary Major and its seminar series are supported by the Office of the Provost, College of Agriculture, College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, and Department of Geography.
