Recognized for her bravery and boldness, Disney’s Mulan risks her life to save her father’s, as she takes his place fighting in the Chinese army. Captain Li Shang trains the company in this rousing number with music by Matthew Wilder and lyrics by David Zippel. I also included the show's transition from an incredible Tarzan number into Mulan. All of the warriors-in-training seem pretty great, but I’m especially fond of the one who enters second from stage right (video left) ;) "The Golden Mickeys” is an awards-style revue show that not only brings to life some of Walt Disney’s incredible characters, but also reminds us of the importance of believing in and working toward our dreams, and leaving the world a better place because of our lives and work.
