There's also a section ripped right out of Wave Man's stage from Mega Man 5, with the bubbles and all. A fun little thing in this stage is that when the octopus enemies hit you with their ink shots, Mega Man will be covered completely in ink, and he will stay that way until you die or enter the pause menu. So if you're going buster only, or something, you can go the entire stage as Ink Mega Man. Splash Woman has a very simple pattern. First, will call three groups of robot fishes to charge into the player that can be dodged by extended jumps or destroyed with a simple buster shot. Then, when she is at the top of the area, she'll move around the room shooting the Laser Trident and finally try to tackle Mega Man with her trident. Rinse and repeat. With our last Robot Master defeated, we use the memory circuit from them to find out what exactly caused this outbreak. Turns out, it really was Wily all along. He pretended to be concerned with the Robot Masters about to be scrapped and offered to help them out, but most likely just reprogramming them to do his bidding.
