Speaker: Associate Professor Mathav Murugan (University of British Columbia) Date: 8th Aug 2024 - 15:30 to 16:30 Venue: External Title: Heat kernel for reflected diffusion and extension property on uniform domains Event: (SSDW02) Stochastic reflection Abstract: I report recent progress on heat kernel estimates for reflected diffusion on uniform domains where the underlying space admits sub-Gaussian heat kernel bounds. A key novelty of our work is the use of an extension operator that extends functions from the domain of the Dirichlet form for the reflected diffusion to that of the diffusion in the ambient space. 👉 Want to learn more about the talks in this stream? 🔗| Seminar Link: https://www.newton.ac.uk/seminar/42746/ 🔗| Workshop Link: https://www.newton.ac.uk/event/SSDW02/ ------------------- FOLLOW US 🌐| Website: https://www.newton.ac.uk 🎥| Main Channel: / @isaacnewtoninstitute 🐦| Twitter: / newtoninstitute 💬| Facebook: / newton.institute 📷| Instagram: / isaacnewtoninstitute 🔗| LinkedIn: / isaac-newton-institute-for-mathematical-sc...
