The history of Rosate began in the Middle Ages, when the first church dedicated to the martyr Saint Stephen was built. The present church was built in the 19th century in neoclassical style, preserving the old bell tower. The tower was secured with the dismantling of the bells in 1887, which were broken to be recast in the current concert: one of the most famous in Italy as it preserves all the ancient traditions.
