Radius arms are a major component in all our Ford E-Series suspension packages and lift kits. Such as the 5" Baja Grocery Getter & 3" Ocotillo Cruiser for Vans and the 2" Getaway, 4" Adventurer & 6" Off Grid suspension packages for RV's. You may be asking yourself what are radius arms? Radius arms are suspension components that are commonly used in vehicles with a solid rear axle. They are typically found in trucks and SUVs. A radius arm consists of a long, curved arm that is attached to the axle on one end and to the vehicle's frame on the other end. As the vehicle travels over bumps and uneven terrain, the radius arm works to keep the axle in its proper position relative to the body of the vehicle. The curved shape of the radius arm allows it to flex slightly as the axle moves up and down. This flexing helps to absorb some of the shock and vibration that is transmitted from the axle to the body of the vehicle.
