#worldwar2 #japan #China Japan lost the war nearly eighty years ago, but in parts of China, its physical presence never truly disappeared. In this video, I walk alone through a forgotten industrial district in northeastern China, where buildings constructed during the Japanese occupation still stand — and in some cases, are still lived in today. These structures have survived regime changes, political movements, and decades of neglect, quietly shaping everyday life for the people who remain. There is no narration. Only images, atmosphere, and subtitles — allowing history to speak through concrete, bricks, and silence. This is not a story about blame, but about how history lingers in places most people no longer notice.
