The official music video for ‘Freedom Song’ is out now!!😄😀😃🩷 ✨ Released as part of ‘Loved Ones: Volume 2’, ‘Freedom Song’ carries a joy, warmth and quiet hope that feel both deeply personal and beautifully shared. Created in collaboration with dear friend and beauty therapist Cornelia Opiyo, the song was born from meaningful conversations about faith, scripture, resilience and the more challenging chapters of life. Gently drawing on experiences of complex familial and marital dynamics, it reflects a shared journey towards release, healing and reclaimed happiness. The music video centres on the gentle, joyful dynamic between Miel and Cornelia. Set in a warm and relaxed space, it captures the ease of two friends spending time together: chatting, laughing and sharing stories in the way that only close friends do. There is a lightheartedness throughout, as their conversations and moments of playfulness reveal the comfort and trust that have grown between them over time. Alongside these tender moments, the video also shows bursts of carefree movement and laughter. These glimpses of uninhibited joy hint at an innocence that may have been tested by life’s challenges, yet still lives on, perhaps even stronger than before. In this way, the video reflects the heart of ‘Freedom Song’: the kind of freedom that can be rediscovered through friendship, faith and the courage to keep choosing joy. Thank you for being here and for sharing this moment! 💛🩷❤️ Credits Lyrics and melody: Andy Wright & Miel de Botton Vocals: Cornelia Opiyo & Miel de Botton Music Video Creation: Sam Clifford Original Music Video Producer: Morten Schjolin
