Magnus Carlsen completely dominated the World Rapid Championship 2019 with a score of 11.5/15. He finished a full point ahead of Alireza Firouzja (silver) and Hikaru Nakamura (bronze). After winning the title Magnus was quite happy, but at the same time said that his job was only half done. He is extremely motivated to win the World Blitz title as well! If that happens he will hold the World Championship title in all three formats - Classical, Rapid and Blitz, a distinction that he held in 2014.
