One more video of the (F)(M) swap before the end of the year, so here's this description... yet again lol: As of 6 AM on 12/8/2025, the (F) and (M) have permanently swapped routes between Rockefeller Center and 36 Street during the daytime hours on weekdays. The (F) now runs via 53 Street between Rockefeller Center and Jackson Heights, and the (M) now runs via 63 Street between Rockefeller Center and 36 Street. On weekends and overnights, there is no change in service. This swap marks the return of regularly-scheduled weekday (F) service on 53 Street for the first time since December 2001 (excluding the 63 Street Reconstruction Project which occurred from August 2023 to April 2024). In this video, a Jamaica-179 Street bound R160 Alstom (F) train is seen arriving and leaving Court Square-23 Street, followed by a Kings Highway bound half Cuomo R160 (F) train leaving in the opposite direction. Then, the LemmePurr wrapped R160 Alstom (E) train is seen leaving, bound for World Trade Center, followed by a Coney Island bound R160 Alstom (F) train arriving and leaving the station. Although this is the last (F)(M) swap video of 2025, there will likely be a few more in January 2026. However, I will no longer be putting the details of the swap in the descriptions, as it will be treated as any other regularly-scheduled service pattern from now on lol.
