This documentary was produced by Genija in 2007 in PAL resolution. The script was written by Aleksander J. Potocnik, the author of the very first ever article about the Rupnik line, published in 2001 in British magazine Fort. Potocnik located and researched the fortifications of the Rupnik Line with help of United States fortification historian Joe E. Kaufmann in the period between 1999 and 2001. The above mentioned article was simultaneously published in Slovenian language in Zirovski obcasnik. The documentary was directed jointly by Aleksander J. Potocnik and Dubravko Gecan, who was also in charge of post-production and contributed 3D animations. It was commissioned by the Museum Association of Ziri and produced by Genija. The majority of archive photographic material was contributed by the Museum of Contemporary History of Slovenia. A photo of Germans removing steel plates was contributed by Dusan Skrlep. Other contributors of individual photos were: Markku Airila, Pavel Car, Jaroslaw Chorzepa, Tomasz Idzikowsky, Joe E. Kaufmann, Sandi Aftero Kobal, Radomir Zika and Vladimir Tonic. Narrator was Chris Wherry. The summary of Potocnik’s books in Slovenian language was in 2012 published as an English language book by Merriam Press under the title: Fortifying Europe’s Soft Underbelly: http://www.merriam-press.com/fortifyi... It is also available on Amazon. ...
