It’s sticky, fragrance-free, water-soluble and tasteless. It gets soft after soaking in the water and once absorbed it comes out in the form of gel (like crushed ice). Benefits of Gond Katira- Reduces weight: Gond Katira is an excellent source for kick starting the metabolic rate of the body. It reduces the hunger pang as it is rich in fiber. -It has anti aging and anti inflammatory properties. -Maintains digestive system. -Boosts immunity. -Regaining post pregnancy strength. -Curing dehydration. -Control blood pressure cooling. -Improves calcium level. -Treats urinary incontinence. Difference between Gond katira and Gond - Gond Katira has cooling properties used in beverages topping on kulfi/Icecreams whereas Gond has warm properties and used in sweets like laddu panjiri.
