Well this one was a corker; no internal adjustments, so it was time to find the hidden service menu. Two sets later I reckon to just about have it sussed! & we now have 4W & not the factory 2.8, and full deviation of 2.2 - 2..5Khz, and not the factory 1.4. A word of warning: Don;t mess with parameters you don;t need to. Some of the settings can only be done with a signal generator to provide the signal the radio's CPU converts presumably to hexadecimal. Scarey. I messed up one radio & had to buy another to do this video. With the second radio I made sure I wrote down the factory settings. Then both sets were then able to be set up spot-on. Now of course, if I had the service manual all this would be easy, but CRT don;t respond to my requests! Richard, G0OJF Recorded 24th May 2020 Lincolnshire UK
