We got lost in its endless corridors, a chaotic world of spices and handicrafts. It’s here that you truly feel the pulse of Tehran. Just steps away from the chaos, we found peace in the historic Masoudieh Palace, a Qajar-era complex hidden in the city center. We continued our tehran walking tour to understand Iranian culture by visiting a traditional instrument shop. We heard the beautiful sound of the Setar and It was a magical connection to Persia's ancient artistic soul. But Tehran isn't just about history; it's a living city of 15 million people. We rode the metro at rush hour – a truly authentic (and crowded!) experience – and explored the streets. We followed our noses to a local Barbari bread bakery and watching the hypnotic dance of the bakers. Seeking a different kind of energy, we wandered into Laleh Park and got to know the community of young Iranian juggling, slacklining, and enjoying their afternoon. They welcomed us with open arms, showing us the modern face of Iranian youth culture. From the historical Bagh Melli gate to the traditional architecture of the Ettehadie House, we walked through layers of history. We explored museums that tell the story of a nation and simply watched daily life unfold in the beautiful, busy streets. Our travel channel, Jey and Nina, is all about authentic, budget-friendly travel that connects with real people. We believe the best way to understand a place is to walk its streets, eat its street food, and talk to its people. We are an Iranian-dutch couple traveling the world through backpacking and hitchhiking, proving that you don't need a big budget or plan to have life-changing adventures. We are passionate about slow living, human connection, and showing that the world is full of kindness. If you believe in that too, you're in the right place. #irantravel #travelvlog #tehran #cultureshock
