ULTRAKILL - Is it really Devil May Quake?

Yesterday, New Blood Interactive put out a lengthy demo for their upcoming retro-style first-person shooter, ULTRAKILL, designed by Arsi "Hakita" Patala. This intense FPS game, or at least the marketing for it, paints itself as something of a hybrid between Devil May Cry and Quake...but is it, though? I have a few thoughts about that, and I've dug into my own collection to back up my case. You should, however, go check this demo out IMMEDIATELY. It's a hell of a lot of fun, and you can download it by visiting DevilMayQuake.com As I mentioned in the video, I've never played a New Blood game I didn't like!
