These were the great legends of the Medieval Age in both Europe and the Near East. While Charlemagne and Alexander certainly existed, it is still an open question whether Arthur and Saint George did. But Prester John, fabled descendant of the Three Wise Men of the Bible, almost certainly did not. His legendary kingdom of The Three Indies is described in this video by the texts of those who first recorded his legend. The promise of this paradise drew adventurers and knights on quest for centuries. And although this video is a sober collection of the literary sources of Prester John, it also promotes a very silly and non-academic version of this legend... a role-playing actual play podcast by DW Draffin set in the world of Prester John's city of Nyse!
