Mainly there are three clean commands i.e "clean", "cleansstate" & "cleanall". : The "clean" task in Yocto is used to clean the build artifacts of a specific recipe. It removes all files generated during the build process for that particular recipe. The "cleansstate" task is used to clean the sstate cache for a specific recipe. The sstate cache stores shared build artifacts to speed up subsequent builds. Cleaning the sstate cache for a recipe ensures that the build process starts with fresh, locally built artifacts. The "cleanall" task is a more aggressive cleaning task. It not only removes the build artifacts for a specific recipe but also clears all cached build artifacts, including shared sstate cache files. Use this task sparingly, as it forces a complete rebuild of everything and can be time-consuming.
