Oskar started to play the piano at the age of six. Only one year after that, he won the first prize at the piano competition "Karl-Lang-Klavierwettbewerb" in Munich where other renowned artists such as Alice Sara Ott launched their career. Oskar has been taught by professors (University of Music and Performing Arts Munich) since he was nine years old. He won many prizes by the German national music competition "Jugend musiziert“ in the categories piano solo and chamber music. As a sixteen-year-old pianist, he formed a duo with a cellist from the 'Bundesjugendorchester' (German National Youth Orchestra) resulting in winning a regional (Munich), a state-wide (Bavaria) and a national prize (Germany) at "Jugend musiziert“ playing works by Grieg and J. S. Bach. Oskar was invited by the "Bayerischer Rundfunk" (Bavarian Broadcasting) to perform at the opening concert of the "Prix Jeunesse International 2012 - Promoting excellence in children’s TV“ both as a soloist as well as playing a duo with a violinist. Consequently, a DVD recording was made. When Oskar was 18 years old, he won a prize at an international piano competition in Milan. After that, he was taught by Prof Dr Matti Raekallio (Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media/The Juilliard School New York). Oskar received master classes by Prof. Arie Vardi, Bernd Goetzke, Markus Bellheim, Matti Raekallio, Michel Béroff and Dmitri Alexeev.
