The 108th release on Mistique sees a massive collaboration between the DC Project production team and Redloft. https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/c... DC Project and Redloft hail from Columbia and Mexico respectively and both have very impressive and extensive discographies having appeared on: Progrezo, Neuroscience, LuPS, Deepsessions and Existence. The 'On The Couch' original mix is an energetic, bouncy progressive track with a bit of an old school flair. The lead line is quite catchy and have most dancefloors grooving quite nicely. Ivan Nikusev has been delivering some stunning productions of late and we always look forward to hearing his new stuff. His 'On The Couch' remix does not disappoint. Ivan has added a very cool hypnotic feel to it and kept all the energy and drive on the original as well. As the track progressive and the melodic elements expand there is a nice resemblance to some of the classic Turkish progressive stuff that was at the forefront so many years ago. Great remix from Ivan. Argentina's Dark Soul Project has completely reworked the track into a deep and sophisticated masterpiece. A nice acidic, wobbly bassline sits at the root of the track with amazing, trippy percussive elements and a very cool vocal sample. A gorgeous and understated breakdown only adds to the sophistication of an already amazing track! Really solid stuff from Dark Soul Project. Another Argentinian producer Frede Goto provides a really nice atmospheric progressive trance mix while Jim Siver comes up with a much funkier deep interpretation that still makes nice use of the melodic elements. To close the package out newcomers Shinobi and Vladimir Neuymin have come up with a quirky, tech house remix that rounds the package out quite nicely. A very solid package from Mistique.
