I visited the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History with my family. We spent time walking through the exhibitions, and I happened to film a short video there. In the video you can see various animals on display — mammals, birds, insects — and also some exhibits of plants and flowers. I even captured some exhibits related to humans (e.g. anatomical or evolutionary displays). Also, while I was there, I filmed a nice shot from a viewpoint with a view of Tel Aviv — it felt beautiful and made the visit more memorable. The Steinhardt Museum of Natural History is Israel’s national center for biodiversity studies, affiliated with Tel Aviv University. The museum houses over 5.5 million specimens — flora, fauna, and other natural-history collections gathered over decades — including animals, plants, insects, and more. Inside, there are exhibitions covering a wide variety of themes: biodiversity, mammals and birds, insects and arthropods, marine life, ecosystems of Israel, human evolution and anatomy, and more. The building itself is large (five-story, designed by a known architecture firm), with exhibition halls, research labs and collections. The museum’s mission is to educate, inspire curiosity about nature, support scientific research on biodiversity, and foster a connection between people and nature. #israel #walkinginisrael #museumofnaturalhistory #telaviv #מוזיאוןהטבעתלאביב
