RAW VIDEO | New Minneapolis video challenges ICE account of Julio Sosa-Celis shooting

Newly released city camera video shows the moments leading up to the Jan. 14 shooting of Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis in north Minneapolis and challenges parts of the federal account of what happened. -The video shows a person with a shovel outside a home, then dropping it and running as a pursuit stops at the end of the block. -The footage then shows another person fall near the home, an apparent federal agent tackling him, and a brief struggle involving a third person who exits the residence. -The new footage challenges earlier federal claims that Sosa-Celis and another man attacked an officer with a snow shovel and broom handle before the shooting. -Charges against Sosa-Celis and Alfredo Alejandro Aljorna were later dismissed with prejudice after federal prosecutors said newly discovered evidence was materially inconsistent with the original allegations.
