Leather embossing and stamping have always had a slightly more expensive barrier to entry than other leather craft skills. You can get a cheap makers mark on a handle, but those can be bouncy and they're not very accurate. We came up with the Platen Set so you can use a press you might already have or add functionality to a press you're going to purchase, eliminating the need for other presses that might only be used to emboss your makers mark.
