Advice for Medical students in Nigeria in 2025

The truth is that medical school is rigorous and there is no guarantee it’ll be a smooth ride but there are some ways to make things easier for yourself as a medical student. As a 5th year medical student, I thought it would be helpful to share some tips that have helped me scale through 4 years of medical school. It’s basically the advice I wish I had in my first year of university. I haven’t exhausted everything, there’s more ways to work smarter, spend less time studying and still get excellent results.
