The Velvet Hammer is a Dumble like overdrive pedal from BMF Effects. I was pleasantly surprised on this one and how responsive it can be to the guitar's controls. The Gain is a subtle increase after 9 o'clock and the tone control is always 'just enough' regardless to whether you are rolling off or adding a little high-end. Boost section works with the drive and cascades a small amount of miss and gain into the drive section of the pedal. All in a very pedal board friendly, custom enclosure that's smaller than a normal 1590bb.
