Visit http://www.thesmallengineshop.net This video does an excellent job at showing how engine oil protects an engine, and prevents two moving metal parts from making contact and creating unnecessary wear. The video also shows how a pressurized lubrication systems works, minus the modern oil filter. I don't think oil filters were in wide used in 1937. This video is old, but I often find these older educational videos to be better quality, and do a better job at explaining fundamental principals of engine repair. Thanks for watching!
