Thailand now takes the #1 spot for my favorite place I've ever travelled to. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the island paradise of Phuket and the cultural richness of Chiang Mai, every moment was an experience. I kicked things off in Bangkok with an elite Thai tea and Pad Thai—arguably one of the best dishes ever made. Then, I visited Wat Pho, where I couldn’t resist hitting the giant gong, and took in the intricate temple details (shoes off, of course—this is an Asian household). I almost made it into the Grand Palace, but missed the entrance by three minutes. Pro tip: watch out for people outside trying to “redirect” you. After wandering through Chinatown and eating some of the best street food, I took a boat ride along the Chao Phraya River before heading to Phuket, where I stayed in a villa with a pool in the center (this needs to be a standard in life). I took a boat to the Phi Phi Islands, snorkeled in crystal-clear waters, and disappeared into a lagoon. Also, yes, I got plenty of regular massages… Then came Chiang Mai, my favorite part of the trip. I stayed in one of my favorite hotels, indulged in Khao Soi, and visited Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a temple sitting high in the mountains. But the highlight? I became an elephant dad at an ethical sanctuary. Hanging out with these gentle giants felt like something straight out of Jurassic Park. Back in Bangkok, I finally made it inside the Grand Palace, which had enough gold to rival a South Asian wedding. A random but wholesome moment? Some tourists asked me to take a photo… but actually wanted me in it. Then, I explored Siam Paragon, watched an intense Muay Thai fight (where my Muslim brothers from France kept winning 🥊), and ended the trip reflecting on one of the best experiences of my life. Between incredible food, stunning landscapes, and unexpected moments, Thailand was everything I hoped for. If you’ve ever wanted to visit, this vlog is for you! Where should I go next?
