Soundlab Studios Season 1 Intro

Soundlab Studios (led by Scott Fleming and Jeremy Duncan) is a YouTube channel dedicated to music, album reviews, vinyl collecting, and guitar videos. The name Soundlab came from the nickname of Fleming’s guitar pedalboard, “The Soundlab”. The channel was originally created with guitar tone tutorials in mind in 2020, but was later abandoned due to Fleming’s limited pedalboard. Instead, the channel was used for funny meme videos, such as ”Han Solo’s Funeral” and “The Knights Who Say Meap”. The channel was rebooted in late 2022 when Fleming teamed up with college friend and roommate Jeremy Duncan. Duncan and Fleming both love music, and graduated from Dallas Baptist University with degrees in music. This gives the two more room to listen to music with a critical ear. Fleming and Duncan like classical music, but have dedicated this channel to pop and rock of the 60s-80s. Some of the artists we plan on covering are Jethro Tull, Rush, David Bowie, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Tom Petty. Soundlab Studios also plans on showcasing vinyl records, of which Fleming now has over 150.
