Last weekend was testing out my new HXT-900 servos in my Parkzone Visionaire. They were very slow to respond due to extensions to the aileron servos. Honestly I could barely fly the plane they were so sluggish. Some RC Groups veterans gave me some advice so I removed the extensions and soldered in wire to extend the servo leads to exactly what I wanted. They worked great! On the second flight test I stripped the HXT-900 for the rudder due to the tail wheel getting caught in the grass on take off. It actually ripped the rudder right off when the plane went airborne. It was an easy fix, but I decided to do with a MG90S metal gear servo on the rudder instead because of the added abuse it takes from the tail wheel on the ground and landing. Lastly, since the HXT 900s are so power hungry, I added a castle creations UBEC set to 5.5V. The speed of the servos now is phenomenal, and I can still bump up the volts if I feel I need a little more speed after the post mod maiden.
