Today we will go to tell you an interesting story how Brahma Ji got married to his own daughter Saraswati ji. In Hindu religion's Saraswati Purana and majayapuran, it has been mentioned that Brahma Ji [the creator of the universe] married his own daughter. Saraswati which resulted in the birth of Manu - the first human on earth. But now the question arises why Brahma Ji married his own daughter Saraswati and what's the reason behind it. In Saraswati Purana and majayapuran, various incidents have been mentioned. One of them is Brahma Ji's marriage to his daughter Saraswati. According to Saraswati Puram, when Brahma Ji created the universe he directly gave birth to Saraswati Ji with the help of his sperms. That's why it has been believed that Saraswati ji had no mother she only had father Brahma ji. Saraswati Ji is known as the goddess of education. She was very beautiful and attractive that even Brahma ji could not save himself from getting attracted towards her. Because of that only Brahma Ji started thinking of getting married to Saraswati ji. Saraswati Ji got to know about this and decided to get away from Brahma Ji's eyes. For this, she tried to hide in all the four dishas [directions] but all her efforts failed. At last, Saraswati ji got helpless and married Brahma ji. After that, both of them resided in the jungle as husband and wife for 100 years.  They also gave birth to a son called swayambu ''Manu''. Just opposite to this in majayapuran, Brahma ji had 5 heads. It has been said that when Brahma Ji created the universe, he was all alone in the universe, that's why he created Saraswati, sandhya, brahmin from his mouth. Brahma Ji started getting attracted towards Saraswati Ji, his own creation and kept his eyes on her all the time. To get away from Brahma Ji's eyes, Saraswati Ji keeps on roaming around to hide in all the four dishas [directions] but she was unsuccessful in doing so. Then Saraswati ji hides in the sky but Brahma Ji with the help of his fifth head searched her. And requested her to help him in the creation of the universe. After that Saraswati ji decided to marry Brahma ji and gave birth to son Manu.
