A nigun taught by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, R Menachem Mendel Schneerson in the wee hours of Simchat Torah following Hakafos, in 1956 - 5717. We are singing a selection of the longer liturgy that the nigun is usually sung to. This nigun taps into the power of the collective, and the force of what is possible when we unite as a whole. For we are Your People and You are our L-rd, we are Your children and You are our Father. We are Your dear ones and you are our Beloved, We are Your treasure and You are our G-d. ~ Yom Kippur liturgy Chana Raskin…lead vocals Rena Branson…vocals Aly Halpert…vocals Deborah Sacks Mintz…vocals Eleonore Weill…kaval Jessie Reagen…cello Joey Weisenberg...percussion RAZA Circle Vocalists.
