NACHA Rules: Accessing the Latest Updates and Workbooks NACHA is a paid service and an association that releases a new version of the NACHA operating rules annually. It is advisable for all NACHA or ACH Network participants to sign up with NACHA to receive a copy of the rules and guidelines each year. NACHA offers various workbooks and resources for purchase that cover different roles and third-party sender relationships. Personally, I keep a copy of their third-party sender guide on my desk. Additionally, NACHA conducts quarterly webinars to inform individuals about changes to the operating rules, upcoming potential changes, and comment periods. As a representative of an ACH Network participant, I participate in all of these calls. These resources are valuable in staying informed about upcoming changes. Lastly, I would like to highlight that larger providers are already aware of this information. The people who are at risk of being caught unprepared are CPAs and accounting firms that provide payroll services to their clients. Even if you only have a small number of clients, such as 20, 50, or 200, and believe that these changes do not apply to you, you need to comply.
