Honeymoon Cruise to the Bahamas - 2015!

In 2015 we got married and headed on our first ever cruise to the Bahamas! We were there over Labor Day weekend which meant Labor Day pool parties and gorgeous, hot weather! We boarded the Carnival Sensation ship for a few days of fun and relaxation! We drove from our apartment in Jacksonville, Florida over to Port Canaveral which allowed us to save on flights and take advantage of great deals cruising during hurricane season! We got a balcony room and booked early check-in. We loved the casino, the entertainment, and the pool party (where we won some contests)! We enjoyed the port of Freeport where we visited Senor Frogs and shopping. Then we booked an excursion for our second port, Nassau, where we ferried out to Balmoral Island to swim with dolphins in the ocean! We enjoyed time afterwards on the private beach, Sandals Resort, had drinks there, and swam in the ocean. We saw a sign that the Beatles had actually filmed there! This was actually a wedding gift we registered for to check off a bucket list item - to swim with dolphins!
