Where Francis truly seemed to find himself was during the Ranch storyline. So, when suddenly that growth was undone and Otto seemingly drops Francis from the ranch for reasons we dont really understand, it really feels out of the blue and wrong for the characters. Therefore much conversation has popped up online as to why exactly Francis left the ranch, why it was cut, and why Francis is seemingly not really in the last two seasons much.
