First, Bhashyam tells us how the Nama ‘Sivaa’ came into being. ‘Vasa Kanthau Siva: Smrutha:’ ‘Vasa’ became Siva (similar to ‘Pashyaka’ becoming ‘Kashyapa’) We will also review the very many Phalans Bhashyam quotes, as the Blessings bestowed by chanting the ‘Sivaa’ Nama! Sivam karoti Sivaa Sarvam iti Siva Yatha Sivas tatha Devi | Yatha Devi tatha Siva|| This series of Namas is to explain where Ambaal resides. If we recite the Nama ‘Sivaa’, we can infer that Ambaal as ‘Sivaa’ resides in ‘Siva’ Himself! That's where She resides! In Lord Himself! Acharya aptly conveys this concept! ‘Siva’s Anandam’ is ‘Sivanandam’. Hence the title - Siva Ananda Lahari, ‘Sivananda Lahari’! Vasinyadi Vak Devatas has yet again power packed ‘Siva’ Padham, The Greatest hidden secret in all the 4 Vedas and has bestowed this very special Nama ‘Sivaa’.
