‘Gangraped and humiliated’: Family of assaulted Delhi woman narrates a history of intimidation

On January 26, a 20-year-old woman in Delhi’s Kasturba Nagar was allegedly abducted and assaulted, her head tonsured and her face blackened, and then publicly humiliated on the road outside her family's home. She was also allegedly gangraped. Eleven people have been accused in connection with the incident so far. Two are absconding and nine have been arrested, including seven women and two minor boys. The family of the victim told Newslaundry that the accused have been "threatening and harassing them" for a few months now.
