Hello Youtube! So, I'm finally back with yet another piano medley. This video has probably been years in the making in that I kept going back and forth as to whether I would ever do it. To me, Billy Joel is such an unbelievable talent that I wasn't sure (and still am not!) that I could do his music justice. I apologize that the medley is ridiculously long, but there are a few reasons for this. Probably most important is that fact that there is so much amazing Billy Joel music out there! I mean -- I just put together 25 of his greatest hits and there are still many more! The second reason this is so long is that thanks to the American Board of Radiology, I just had a crazy 18 section new board exam that required a lot of time for studying and very little time for posting videos. I just kept adding songs to the medley thinking...I'll just post them all after the test. Anyway, again, I present you with 25 of his greatest hits in a little over 25 minutes, beginning with Pressure (as I could most relate to this song during boards studying!) and ending with...what else...Piano Man. If you're the one person who actually made it to the end -- you're awesome. Please let me know who you are! If you're disappointed that I left out and/or butchered your favorite Billy Joel songs, well...I couldn't play EVERYTHING, and I'm only human (ie not Billy Joel). Lastly, (sorry, apparently I'm long winded in everything I do) If you are only familiar with some of his music, I would urge you to check out more of it -- I promise it will be time well spent. In the same vein, I would just like to point out that it pays to seek out good music. It seems like we live in an era where overly-produced music can compensate for a lack of talent/substance.
