ERS2020 Lunch Device Mini Symposium – Early wheeze detection

A summary of the highlights of the Lunch symposium on the importance of early wheeze detection in young children to minimize asthma exacerbation during the virtual ERS2020 meeting which took place 7-9 September 2020. During the symposium Assoc.Prof. Dr. Kostas N. Priftis, Prof. Dr. Bülent Karadag zoomed in on the medical relevance of wheezing and the struggle between parents and doctors to get to the same understanding of wheezing. Finally, Prof. Dr. Wim van Aalderen introduced WheezeScan as a possible solution to this struggle.
