Outside Pressure? Inside Pressure? What are my fingers doing?

I started my clay journey just before Covid hit so I was forced to learn a lot by watching YouTube tutorials. They were extremely helpful while I waited to get back in the classroom for some up close instruction. One of the hardest things for me watching videos was not seeing or understanding what the inside hand was doing. I made this video to help my students who might feel the same way.
