जटाशंकर, मध्य प्रदेश के होशंगाबाद जिले में पंचमढ़ी के पास स्थित एक प्राकृतिक गुफा एवं भगवान शंकर का मन्दिर है। बुंदेलखंड क्षेत्र के छतरपुर से यह 50 किलोमीटर दूर है। इस मंदिर पर तीन छोटे-छोटे जल कुंड है, जिनका जल कभी खत्म नहीं होता। विशेष बात यह है कि इन कुंडों के पानी का तापमान हमेशा मौसम के विपरीत होता है। ठंड में इनका पानी गर्म होता है, वहीं गर्मी में जल शीतल होता है। इन कुंडों का पानी कभी खराब भी नहीं होता। लोगों का मानना है कि यहां के पानी से स्नान करने से कई बीमारियां खत्म हो जाती हैं। यही कारण है कि जो भी श्रद्धालु यहां आते है, वह कुंड के पानी से स्नान जरूर करते है। इस अति प्राचीन मंदिर में विराजित भगवान शिव का हमेशा गौमुख से गिरती हुई धारा से जलाभिषेक होता रहता है। यह मंदिर धार्मिक आस्था बड़ा केन्द्र है। प्राकृतिक दृष्टि से भी यह स्थान मनोरम है। चारों ओर इस स्थान को घेरे हुए पहाड़ इसके सौन्दर्य को चौगुना कर देते हैं। बंदरों के साथ ही यहां अन्य जंगली जानवर भी पाए जाते हैं। #abzytravelz #jatashankar #जटाशंकरधाम #chhatarpur #jatashankardham #jatashankaryatra #jatashankar #bundelkhand #madhyapradesh Jatashankar is a natural cave and temple of Lord Shankar located near Panchmarhi in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh. It is 50 kms from Chhatarpur in Bundelkhand region. There are three small water tanks on this temple, whose water never ends. The special thing is that the temperature of the water of these kunds is always opposite to the season. In winter their water is hot, while in summer the water is cold. The water of these kunds never gets spoiled. People believe that bathing in this water cures many diseases. This is the reason that all the devotees who come here must take a bath with the water of the pool. Lord Shiva, who is enshrined in this very ancient temple, is always being worshiped by a stream falling from Gaumukh. This temple is a big center of religious faith. This place is also beautiful from the natural point of view. The mountains surrounding this place manifolds its beauty. Along with monkeys, other wild animals are also found here.
