In this video, we go to Lake Ilopango - one of El Salvador's many beautiful lakes! This stunning lake occupies the crater of an extinct Volcano with a not so stunning history. After the catastrophic and earth altering eruption in 413 AD, it formed Lake Ilopango over the next thousands of years due to it being a water volcano!
