If you follow me on Instagram or my blog, you probably know I started oil painting in the fall of 2017. It started off with a challenge to paint 100 meadows/landscapes in oil. I finished that series in January and started 100 still life paintings in oil. I started filming the paintings in order to show my process (and it will be fun to see how that evolves as I learn and improve.) I am a novice artist, so I'm not sharing these videos as an instructor, but just to share what I'm doing. Some details... I'm using Princeton Catalyst brushes, which I just received this week and I love them! I tone the canvas and sketch with Burnt Umber.
