I review the AMX 50 100, a tier 8 French heavy tank in World of Tanks (WoT), with replays of tier 10 Glacier and tier 8 Steppes battles. Prior to 2017, the 50 100 was regarded as an effective albeit finesse tank, but with the introduction of the over-armored tier 8 premium heavies and armor buffs in general from tiers 8-10, the 50 100 is more challenging to play with the current meta in 1.0. Strengths and Weaknesses Excellent gun depression (-9), unusual for an autoloader Excellent silver AP penetration (232) Excellent top speed (51) Good acceleration Good accuracy for an autoloader (0.36 base) Very long clip reload (~46.5 sec with Vents and BIA) creates long windows of downtime Long intra-clip reload (2.73 sec) means increased exposure when dumping your clip Long aim time (3 sec base) exceeds intra-clip reload, so you have to equip your tank and slot BIA accordingly Poor armor Low HP (1400) Recommended Equipment 1.
