This video covers “Deadly Whispers,” the quest inside the Spindleclutch I dungeon in Glenumbra. I’m really pleased that I can solo group dungeons now that I’m running both the Ring of the Pale Order and the Maelstrom Lightning Staff. What starts as a routine spider cleanse for the Fighters Guild quickly turns into something stranger as we trace the source of whispers driving their own members mad. Spindleclutch I is a compact but atmospheric dungeon with a good mix of spider encounters and escalating threats. The final fight against The Whisperer adds its own twist: her Arachnophobia attack briefly blinds you with a whiteout flash. It’s annoying in the moment, but honestly, if the choices are “temporary screen blindness” or “actual fear-paralysis,” I’ll take the visual glare. Other players seem to feel the same — it’s not a beloved mechanic, but it’s quick and survivable. I enjoyed the run overall. It’s straightforward but has enough mood and tension in the final room to make it feel satisfying, and it’s a solid example of how these classic ESO dungeons blend combat and story elements. 0:00 Travel to Spindleclutch Dungeon 0:43 Talk to Praxin Douare 1:58 Started: Deadly Whispers 2:04 Clear the First Cave 4:00 Spindlekin 4:51 Clear the Second Cave 6:57 Swarm Mother 8:30 Clear the Third Cave 9:18 Silence the Whispers 10:16 Cerise the Widow-Maker 12:33 Big Rabbu 13:58 Silence the Whispers 15:24 Talk to At’avar 17:58 The Whisperer 21:05 Talk to Guardian Sud-Hareem 22:03 Completed: Deadly Whispers This Elder Scrolls Online gameplay was recorded on PlayStation 5 Pro in 4K/60 HDR and carefully converted to SDR Rec.709 for consistent brightness and contrast across all displays.
