This session was my biggest yet: 🌊 Open Water Swim — More than the full 1.2 miles in a private lake 🚴 Bike — 56 miles on my indoor trainer 🏃 Run — 9 miles to finish the day strong Throughout the video, I share the story of how I discovered this race and why I decided to take on something I once thought was impossible. After suffering a foot injury overseas, it took time, patience, and determination to recover. When I finally healed, I made a promise to myself: pursue the fitness goals I never believed I’d reach again. This Ironman is about more than just competition—it’s about staying healthy, pushing my limits, and seeing what I can achieve when I commit fully. I’m blessed with incredible support from my wife, and I find deep meaning in staying strong and healthy so I can be there for my daughter for many years to come. As race day approaches, I’m excited, nervous, and grateful. My goal is to break 5 hours, but no matter the outcome, I’m thankful to God for the strength and ability to take on a challenge this big.
