Music/text, Viggo Iversen The Boy 1. Father sails on the stormy sea, catching fish, he feels so free. Mother stays at home – she takes good care of me, she tells me about Jesus and makes me truly see. 2. A sleeping child, under angelic watch, sensing it all but thinking all too much. Constantly worrying about life and death – earthquake, disease, war, and our daily bread. Choir: We dance around – the shining bush, Christmas - fear and new year’s - blues. The candlelight is burning low - the fireworks are over, the old year disappeared somehow. 3. The sun goes down, in the golden sea, the day is dead, the blackbird sings in the pine tree. I believe in the man - in the sky, I believe with his help - I’ll get by. Choir: We dance around the shining bush, Christmas - fear and new year’s - blues.
